Toontown Offline V2.2.0

The Jazzy Update

Jazzy Update 2.2.0

  • The DNA system has been entirely redone! LibPandaDNA has been replaced with the new JazzyPandaDNA. This will decrease load times, and pave the way for future Mac/Linux support.
  • The game engine has had various upgrades for optimization, and more preparation for Mac/Linux support.
  • You will now automatically receive administrator access on your game if you are playing single player. For mini-servers, you will still have to manually change the ‘access level’ to distribute administrator privileges on the server.
  • Removed the ‘nerfs’ gamemode due to a plethora of issues, and unpopularity among players. A feature to make gameplay easier for legit players may be introduced in the future.
  • The ‘local server’ will now automatically start up upon launch of the game. Unlike the past, you will never have to manually open up more than one file to run the game again.
  • The launcher has gotten a minor update to remove the 'nerfs' gamemode. This will be one of the FINAL times you need to download a new launcher. We plan to make the launcher auto-update itself very soon!

The 2nd half of Sellbot HQ has been discovered!

  • A brand new area in Sellbot Headquarters known as the ‘West Wing’ is now accessible via a Sellbot Kart to the west of the Sellbot HQ Courtyard. This area is an abandoned construction site of the Cogs, but previous home of Toontown’s very own Gyro’s Laboratory. The lab has remained here for over fourteen years, and has worn down a lot since then. It’s this location where the Chairman was built and activated the first Cogs, but now just sits to gather dust... For now, the entrance is blocked off. Only time will tell what can be found inside.
  • An elevator to an unknown factory has also been uncovered in this new area! Toons are naming it the ‘Swagtory’, based off of what you may find inside. By completing this factory, you will meet face to face with a brand new Sellbot Cog and several of his friends. You will receive a special reward upon completion which is something Dank in and of itself! (a reward which you could not even earn with Magic Word Commands!).
  • The ‘Five Nights at the Factory’ minigame is no longer hosted by Lord Lowden Clear. Lowden is hard at work, brainstorming ideas for an upcoming Operation to save Slappy and Scrooge. As replacement, you may find Resistance Ranger Ruth in the new ‘West Wing’ area to introduce you to this unique minigame.

New Episode - Squirting Flower!

  • Or is it another Prologue? Either way, log into Toontown Offline today and experience a moment in Toontown History from the view of Coach Zucchini!
  • ver wondered how all the other Toons in Town reacted to the first Cog Invasion? How did they defend themselves? How did they figure out about Gags in the first place? See for yourself in the brand new ‘Squirting Flower’ episode. The setting for this episode takes placed on Oak Street, minutes after the first Cogs set out to invade Toontown.

So many commands, additions and useful tweaks!

  • The Magic Word page in your Shticker Book has been completed. It now has every single accessible Magic Word in the game with a description on how to use it. These are now sorted alphabetically as well. Remember: There are various commands that are disabled for non-moderators on mini-servers in order to prevent trolling. If you wish to use some of these, ask the server owner to change your access level.
  • Several Magic Words have been added to the game. ~setSpeed, ~green, ~skipMovie, ~maxDoodle, ~feedDiners, and a couple more. A few Magic Words also received a name change. You can look up the information for all of these in the Magic Words page in your Shticker Book.
  • There is now a Clothing ID tab in addition to your Magic Words tab in your Shticker book. This page is still in development, and not fully functional at the current time. You can use the ~dna command in conjunction to these IDs to set the clothes on your Toon.
  • The Cog Gallery page in your Shticker Book has received a complete overhaul!
  • You can now become a waiter or skelecog using the ~setCogIndex command. The format for this command remains at ~setCogIndex [cog department] [cog Type]. Cog type 2 is skelecog, 3 is a waiter, and 1 is normal. Cog departments range from 0 through 4.
  • When put into a cog suit, some animations normally done by your Toon will also be played in your suit. For example: “You Stink!” will have you also do an angry-like emote while you’re in a suit.
  • The Toon Council Presidential Elections has received a multitude of changes! There is now an interface for administrators of a mini-server to start the Elections after a set amount of time. No more confusing commands to begin the Elections. There is also a unique pick-a-toon background, theme, and credit message for the Elections when you first start up the game. Toontown Offline team members have been removed from the Elections credits. The current team members, past team members, contributors, and inspiration will all be properly credited in our huge ‘Operation: Duck Hunt’ update.
